Why Affiliate Programs? By: William R. Nabaza of www.Nabaza.com

Why Affiliate Programs? By: William R. Nabaza of www.Nabaza.com

When I have started on the internet way back 1995, I have looked and internet is not the way it's used to be way back then. It's a new medium for me and I am very excited about it. There are times I can't sleep thinking about the web and the internet. I have thought about it's unlimited possibilities. The reach of the internet is global so I have to think global in those days. I remember starting with my own products, well, actually not my own since I get it from some other company and reselling it. I remember getting it from a reputable herbal company way back then and the company is already defunct so I won't mention it's name. I have taken the opportunity to promote their herbal products on the internet since they are not capitalizing their internet presence way back then, having an e-mail is already too much not to mention having your own web address in those days. So I got weekly sales promoting their products, with only the internet as my medium of promotion. I earned like four figures in U.S. dollars per week, in those days those were huge. All I need to do is to promote to sell their products, I scanned their brochures and show up the product, edit it a little bit on Adobe (tm) Photoshop, put the title using Adobe (tm) Coreldraw (tm) and that's about it. I do also the delivery once a product is paid for and I have commitment with my payment company to deliver the product in under five days. The herbal soap will arrive in the U.S. from the Philippines in approximately two days or sometimes less. I make it a point that once an order is placed, I reply to it the usual way, then goes to the shop to order the actual products, then on to Fedex (tm) all consuming four hours of my time after the e-mail notification of the sales has been received. In those days, I was using ccnow.com if you have heard of the company and a little bit of clickbank.com for some articles as virtual products.

Up until now I'm asking the question, why affiliate programs? Come to think of it, I don't really have the products, but I sourced them from a local company, and I don't have a real merchant account or a payment gateway, I got them via affiliation with ccnow, and clickbank. I also don't own a delivery company to deliver the goods, I got all these instant company upgrades and boosts all with the use of affiliate programs. These has been my online business since 1995 and until now. The products and services changes thru time as I accommodate hard times, recession times but the underlying principles is still there, affiliate programs. Without affiliate programs, I could not continue doing what I do best with the help of the LORD who does all things for me.

Now the question to be asked is Why affiliate programs can help you maintain your online presence?

1. Affiliate programs gives you instant products/services to sell. Accept it the internet gives you the demand, whatever demand that is, you just have to research or know what the demand is. Stop thinking locally and think worldwide, what are people's needs and their wants. The demand is there, but you can't just create the product, it needs time, money and effort on your part. Why be selfish of selling your own, go for other products as well owned and endorsed by other companies. With company's help, the product is fully tested over time, they have invested lots of money on it and not to mention their corporate effort to go with it.

2. Affiliate programs saves you time, effort and money. On the internet, if you don't have that much amount of money to start with, then leverage it with more time. Work more than the average netizens to balance it all off. affiliate programs not only saves you time and effort in the research of new products, but it saves you money as well plus the reputation is there, if the product is sourced from reputable companies.

3. Affiliate programs gives you the edge. There are no exclusivity in affiliate programs. You are free to be a member of lots of affiliate programs even if it overlaps, meaning even if they have the same products (different brands) for you to sell. Just join them, the more the merrier. Not to mention of course you will only go with time-tested affiliate programs out there. These brands of different companies might compete with each other, but with you on their side, they are not competitions but opportunities. If one brand is rejected, I'm sure they will go for the other brand, but you also carry it.

4. Affiliate programs makes you stable. All you need to do is think or research the companies that produces those demanded products and sell them. If worst comes to worst, company closes down, you still have other companies to go to. If I were to choose from partnership and affiliate programs, I would choose first affiliate programs then partnership. Usually some affiliate programs if you're already into a long relationship with them, will give you good partnership. Good partnership can't give you that edge of sourcing out other companies for it includes (if not all) exclusivity. You are limited to joining one company selling same product/services that's about it. Frankly, I haven't known a sane company that, for example, they're selling cell phones, will allow you to get into partnership with another cell phone company. It's just not practical for them to lose you. In other words, you can't serve two masters in partnership, but affiliate programs allows you to.

5. Affiliate programs works, while you make the sales. Companies in affiliation with you will work side by side by you, to deliver, to assure quality to the customers and provide after sales customer support. After selling their products or services, all you got to do is sell again and make money. That's so easy for me, I don't know about you but the way to go is CPA (cost per action) or what they call per sales. It's much more reliable and minimizes the abuse. Per sales scheme affiliate programs is bottom-line money! If you have to go by per lead and you get paid, make sure the company is not a ponzi company to start with or you're in trouble. The sure way is sales. The money is in the sales. If leads are provided but they don't buy sooner or later, that's a dead lead and will not do you any good. Let me put it this way, a good lead is there, but a better lead is one that buys.

Keys In Successful affiliate programs:

These are keys that will make you successful in whatever affiliate program you are going to join.

1. Determine the demand. See the demand, what people need. Is this something you're gonna do for the rest of your life? If all answers are positive and you determine the demand, then you have saved time, effort and money to create the demand. The demand is your product to sell, the product to sell is the demand.

2. Determine the company. The company is of course, out there selling these highly demanded products but you have to screen them, see their commitment with their customers, the quality of their products and the deliverability of it. Go for reputable companies with long standing record, the old-fashioned companies usually have a web address but they're not capitalizing it, still they're thinking local, then it's up to you to provide what it's not there, you agree to promote their product for free if they will give you some sort of commissions or some discounts. That's about it. If these companies have already their own affiliate programs then the better the deal for you.

3. Determine the payment method. Give it some thought, if you can go with Paypal (tm) then it's settled. Upgrade to business account so you can take advantage of the corporate benefits Paypal (tm) has to offer.

4. Determine the internet marketing. Think of how you will promote it on a new web address. Get a domain name to distinguish the product from the rest. You can easily get a free domain via Domain and Hosting In One Business they will host it for you as well. Don't settle for other's sub domain.

5. Determine the delivery method. You can go with cheap ones, but still the best factor that plays here is who's the fastest and most reliable? The price is not an issue for you can charge it to your customers.

Stop Looking Around:

Your look ends here, do you want an affiliate program to join in that capitalizes on your sales. Something that is guaranteed after sixty days and will share with you the revenues? It's easy join in my affiliate programs. These affiliate programs are backed by 15 years of internet presence experience. You get these affiliate programs plus you get me. It's the way to put it. I'll work side by side by you to make it happen. If you have noticed, I have put up 5 helpdesk software along side it to help you along the way, every step of the way I will be with you it's like making sales with me on the backseat and you're in the front row. After all, to put it bluntly, if you don't make a sale, then I don't.
