I believe in every good family stands a good father to support, nurture and love his family. These are some personal compilations based on my experiences of a what a good father is:
1. A Good Provider.
No matter what, fathers must realize family comes first. A good father thinks of his wife, and children's needs ahead of himself. He shows them their presence by providing for them love, time, money, effort mostly invisible and also see to it that their financial needs and schooling needs are met.
2. A Good Spiritual Leader.
A good father just don't leave his wife and children out in the dark, he leads them to church every Sunday and also leads family devotions, building and caring for their spiritual needs as much as he does to their financial needs.
3. A Man Of Truth And Love.
He never wanted his wife and children fall into the same bad experiences he had before early in life while we're all experimenting with our lives. He makes sure the path for his children are clear, safe and a successful path. He leads his family in love and truth not in anger and negativity.
4. Most important of all.. One That Fears God.
The Bible tells us that fear of God brings everything to our lives among them are wisdom, long life, wealth and enjoyment of wealth, isn't that what all human beings pray for his/her entire life on earth? It's one secret, Fear of God, means respect for God's name and His Works.
